Easy to Use Bluetooth Music Receiver
One of the things I like best about this receiver is that it is built into the AC power adapter. You always have to have a power adapter for a blue tooth receiver that's not built into another device and this eliminates the extra little box where the Bluetooth adapter would be located.I found this adapter to be easy to use and mate with my iPad. The audio sound is very good too via Bluetooth to my home stereo. I had no reception problems from my iPad to the stereo with the iPad in various places around the room.Using a Bluetooth receiver with my stereo is a much better solution to listening to my music from my iPad or iPhone than plugging in a wired adapter. The big bennefit is that you get the full benefit of selecting the music you want and adjusting the volume right from your device.I have found that my iPad can connect to more than one Bluetooth receiver at the same time without a problem and play music to both or either. One thing I reccomend in this case though, is to use different brand Bluetooth adapters for the different receivers so you have a way to know which is which at your iPad, iPhone or whatever since it shows the Bluetooth receivers by brand in your device that you are transmitting from. There is only two potential negatives to this device that I could see.(1) because it doesn't have an external Bluetooth antenna, it may not have as much range as the few adapter that do - but it seemed OK for being in the same room.(2) I was offended by the offer in the package offering a $2 refund for a 5 star review. I find that to be unethical and pathetic and decreases my review slightly.(Update 1) 1I have noticed a few drop-outs when playing music via Bluetooth and using my iPad at the same time. I think the issue is that sometimes I may be partially blocking my iPad's Bluetooth transmitter. I have not noticed this at all when using my other Bluetooth device which has an external antenna - which makes it somewhat more sensitive. Other that this I still like the product.(Update 2) - This Bluetooth audio receiver was plugged into the outlet strip on the back of my Audio/Video cabinet which meant that that all the A/V hook-up wires and some of the stereo & TV equipment was between my iPad and the Bluetooth adapter while I was using it. This interfered with the Bluetooth signal which was apparantly causing the occasional break-ups in the audio signal while I used my iPad. I got a small AC extension cord and relocated the Bluetooth receiver to the inside front of the A/V cabinet. This also happened to move it farther from my wifi router. Bluetooth and wifi are both in roughly the same band of RF frequencies and the wifi router might have also contributed to the previous breakups. Now, at last - no more drop-outs of the audio while I use my iPad and have music playing at the same time!

Outstanding function and ease of use.Excellent performance.Would buy again without hesitation.
First off, Avantree pays for reviews.I did not submit anything for payment, so I am an actual real guy writing a free and independent unpaid review. No one is paying me anything for any review or opinion period. That being said:This Roxa is a fantastic little unit that does exactly what it is supposed to do.It is a Bluetooth (BT) receiver only, and it performs the BT function perfectly. The major factor influencing my decision to purchase this was its ability to receive input from 2 (two) sources. I previously had a unit that allowed only one input at a time, and that was very inconvenient. I want to play my phone AND my laptop through the stereo. I do not wan to get up and switch BT inputs, so this ROXA is perfect. No switching, no changes. Laptop to phone, no problem. Range seems good, and it gives about 25 ' reception through wall of basic frame and drywall construction. I have not tried it through commercial construction. The APTx codec is about as good as I have ever heard, with the compromises inherent in BT technology as expected.I bought 2 units and have them in slightly different configurations. One is plugged into the AC power outlet of a receiver without direct line of sight, and performance is excellent. The other is plugged into a wall AC outlet several feel from the receiver, and it is slightly obscured without direct line of sight available; performance in this setup is also outstanding.Wires still nee to run from the Roxa to inputs on the receiver. Included cables are very handy and a nice touch to finish the job. Build quality seems quite good and sturdy. I expect no problems, and it is certainly above the quality of some cheaper items readily available.Overall, this is exactly what I was looking for to bring BT to my home stereo. It lets me use 2 sources (laptop and phone) to input music through my home stereo. This is a sweet little device.

Clever and convenient
No more plugging my mp3 or cell phone into a cable on my stereo. Whatever setting is required for auxiliary input on your stereo, then connect with Bluetooth from even another room once paired and you can play your music and adjust the volume from your device. Whatever device has your music must have Bluetooth capability. The only reason not 5 stars is each new device paired requires unplugging and plug back in the first time. It is a simple device so there are no buttons or programming. Just unplug and plug back in first pairing.

seems to drop alot
I bought this because it seemed to be one of the best rated Bluetooth devices, its ok, works well.. most of the time. range seems a bit limited, older android devices cant seem to connect. Although it works thru walls, it suffers in order to do so (as all devices would) range seems more limited than I expected it. Drops a little too often for my taste

Easy to setup and sounds great
I used to have a Motorola Bluetooth 2.0 music receiver and it sucked... the streaming kept getting cut out no matter how close my source was... After getting an Azio btd-v400 APT-X enabled bluetooth adapter for my Win7 PC I decided to get this Avantree APT-X capable receiver to replace my Motorola one. The setup was easy... apparently the pairing mode is prompted by plugging in the 3.5mm pin cable (so if you needed to pair a second device just unplug that cable and plug it back in and it'll go into pairing mode). After it paired, whenever I connect it with my PC I'll see a APT-X picture appear and fade out indicating that it's using the APT-X codec. The sound quality is great, sounds as if it's connected by cables. Definitely better than just the standard A2DP. My computer is only about 5 feet away from the receiver so I'm not sure how good the range is but at least the sound no longer cuts out every minute. If you're picky about your sound and want to go wireless, I'd definitely recommend getting this receiver (but do make sure your transmitting device/PC is also APT-X capable).

Good product. Works well with good range
Good product. Works well with good range. Even works in other room if there is open communicating space. Connects instantly with my paired android handset. Easy to set up. I have connected it to my powered speakers and stream music from my Note II. No problem at all with Good sound quality, probably restricted by the limitations of bluetooth technology.

aptX unleashes the true potential of Bluetooth audio streaming
Speakers finally sound way better than the default SBC Bluetooth streaming. Bass is present now, sound details missed earlier are present now. Recommended.

Over priced
The unit is very 'biased' towards different brands. Bluetooth connectivity was good for the I Phone but not for HTC units on my AV amplifier
