Awesome and so easy to set up! Literally peel the back and sticks it under the cabinet. Only thing is each light takes four triple a batteries, which to me is no biggie but figured I’d mention that. Also, there’s a timer which is a big plus!

I did NOT want a motion detection light and was really happy to find these. You simply touch the light on the end where the on/off is located (no need to have your finger directly on the button) and it works. I've even just ran my hand along the light from about the middle to the right side (where the button is) and they work that way as well. The biggest plus for me is the fact that they can be changed from a warm light to cool light. I had not seen that before. And the remote control is fantastic. You can change whatever settings you like, set a timer, and turn them on and off. I *might* have preferred a USB rechargeable light, but since this one had all the features I was looking for, I just purchased a bunch of AAA batteries to have on hand. Since I don't use the lights for very long, I foresee the batteries lasting quite a long time. But I've only had these lights a few days, so I can't comment specifically on battery life. These lights just fit the bill for my application (under my kitchen cabinets) and after my initial purchase, just yesterday, I ordered more for other locations in the home. BUY -- you won't be disappointed! Worth every dollar!

I bought this to solve the problem of not being able to see my grandchild in her rear-facing car seat at night as my Honda CRV does not have a traditional dome light. I looked at the Munchkin lighted car baby mirror, but reviews on it were mixed so I got this light to create a diy version. I deliberately chose this one for its small size & lower light output because I don't want it super bright. First I tried sticking it to the regular baby mirror in a Frankenstein version of the Munchkin product, but when I sat in the driver's seat & put the light on with the remote, mostly what I could see was the light shining back in my eyes, not the carseat. So Plan B was to strap the light on the fold-up handle above the door, next to the garment hanger. I used two 6" velcro straps to positon the light on the handle & point it down on the carseat and it worked perfectly in my test. The light bar has enough weight to keep the handle down in a good position (it should, with 6 AAA batteries in it!) Now if the batteries will just hold their charge through long periods of not being used, I'll be delighted with it!

Update - September 2021 I have had this light switched on for a total of 10 minutes (literally TEN MINUTES) over 31 days. It has drained 8 HIGH-END batteries. How? It’s not even on! I install the 4 batteries, check the light, it works, I turn it off, then I come back a week later to turn it on, and batteries are dead. DO NOT BUY—unless you want to remove the batteries EVERY TIME you’re finished using it. I would return it, but I am 3 days past the return cut-off. So disappointing. August 2021 Replaces my broken halogen light in my barware display cabinet. Very easy to install. I love the magnetic strip, which allows you to take it down easily to change batteries if needed. Remote control is a game-changer for me, since it’s a tall cabinet that would otherwise require me to stand on a stool to turn it on and off. I do wish it was brighter, as it doesn’t reach as far down in the cabinet as the original halogen. (The original illuminated down through the 4th or 5th shelf, while this one barely makes it through the 3rd.) And I do wish you couldn’t see each of the 10 LEDs individually, coz that looks a bit tacky. But overall, it has worked it well for my purposes. FYI, if this helps anyone: When I first turned it on by tapping it, I really thought it wasn’t bright enough at all, and I was disappointed. But when I tried the dimmer feature in the remote, I realized I hadn’t initially been at the brightest setting. So that was a nice discovery.

The lights are easy to install and adhere nicely under the cabinet. My complaint is how often the batteries need to be replaced no matter which brand batteries you use from Duracell to Amazon Basics. I replaced the batteries two weeks ago to Duracell and one light doesn’t come on and the other two are very dim at 100%.

Super dim light. Not at all like pictured and not what I needed at all. Then the light just stopped working.

Two colors to use, holder works well and remote is also works well. Also found batteries that recharge runs a very long time ⌛️. Good price & good unit!
