The media could not be loaded.  My wife and I had a project of raising up our dining room table and painting, due to getting higher chairs. Since we're newly married, I did not have any power tools so I looked up what would be the best quality for the price and found Genesis! I bought the cordless circular saw knowing that it'll save some time, but wow did it do more than that. It was easy set up out of the box and the battery was fully charged which is perfect because we were ready to get started immediately! I love that it has multiple speeds and that it had the laser assist so you can get the perfect cut! The table was raised with the help of the saw and it took 1/4 of the time and the handles on the saw made it very easy to grip and guide! I also noticed it can be adjusted to tilt if you need an angle cut so that will come in handy on future projects I’m sure! HIGHLY recommend if you are building a collection of first-time tools. I even got a cordless drill/impact driver set from Genesis that shares the exact same 20V battery and charger so I’m planning to continue to build my power tool collection with Genesis cordless tools. Would definitely recommend!

Pro:Laser, electric brake, dust portCon:Very weak motor. Battery lasts for about 5 minutes (fully charged, 5 hrs) while cutting through 7/16 OSBs, then the battery just dies. Take the battery out, put it back in, you get another 15 seconds of cutting time. Do it maybe 5 times, then wait for 3 hrs for it to charge to get another 5 minutes out of it. For each new cut had to hold the blade guard up for the blade to make initial contact with the material. Its a joke, don't waste your time and money.

I ordered an "IDKE" (Swedish meatball and furniture outlet) "desk" on line for delivery.COME TO FIND OUT the L-shaped base is what you get. NO TABLE TOP. I freaked. I grabbed an old headboard I had lying around, and the laser-guided blade made it SO EASY to make incredible custom cuts through1/2" laminated Heavy duty compressed particle board (?) I am thinking of going back into the Contracting Biz!Everything you need is a box the sized of a mini-keg. Lightweight. NO CORDS! Good stuff. Recommend HIGHLY!

This is my first saw and I am very happy with it. It worked great to build a corner planter out of 2" square cedar. Pretty much no kick back, runs smoothly, and battery lasts a long time.

Blade guard does not retract.Perhaps one of those factory error or rejects or miscalculated plan.It gets stuck halfway through the process.😡DANGER,DANGER😡

It was a gift and she really likes it!

Had to crosscut some 3/4" x 2ft Oak veneer ply so I outfitted it right out of the box with a Freud D0536X Diablo 5-3/8-Inch 36 Tooth ATB Finish blade. The saw cut clean, splinter free on both faces, smooth as butter but stalled a couple of times before completing the cut. This was understandable because I didn't charge the battery 1st and the factory charge had likely weakened over time since manufacture. I'm certain a freshly charged battery would be more than adequate for the job, if not I'll update later. I only gave it 4 stars because I found it uncomfortable to use above waist level, which was a necessity on this occasion.I would recommend this saw, it's light weight makes it useful for trim work & cutting large panels where a 2nd set of hands isn't available.UPDATE: After recharging the battery (5 hrs.) the saw cut through the 3/4"oak veneer ply easily & once again no chipping on either face.*BUT* I have to drop my rating down to 3 stars because 5 hours to recharge is totally unacceptable for any tool as time is of the essence when working on a job.

Pour vraiment en profiter au mieux, changez la lame pour une meilleure. La batterie ne se charge pas assez vite et le laser n’est pas bien ajusté. J’ai tenté de l’ajuster, mais on peut seulement ajuster l’angle. De plus, la protection de la lame est gênant quand on commence une coupe. Par contre, elle est assez silencieuse et est légère donc facile à utiliser. Pour le prix, il n’y a pas mieux.

Malheureusement je n'ai pas pus évaluer puisque'elle ne fonctionnait pas. Elle était légerte et facile a manipuler. Cela aurait pus être un bon produit puisqu'il venait avec la batterie et le chargeur.
