Perfect size for less than 20k Gallon pools!
Best decision we've ever made for our pool! We have a 12' x 24' x 52" rectangle pool. It came with a 12" sand filter & the water never would totally clear up. We've moved up to this one from advice with pool service company and our water is sparkling clean, was easy to install and is doing a great job! We switched from sand to the new filter balls as well! It was a GREAT decision!!! You will NOT regret this pump!

Motor died first time I started it
I installed the pump, primed it, but it just wouldn’t turn for several minutes and then finally and reluctantly started but stopped again the next cycle. Unfortunately, I bought this in September and installed it for the new season. Lastly, it says “in-ground” but the nearby pool company said there is no way that is for inground because of the size input. I swapped out the motor with a Hayward Superpump and it hasn’t given me problems. I could have just gotten a bum pump but very disappointed since it’s not inexpensive.

For the price, worth the hassle
The shipping box came destroyed they could have packed it better. The instructions were sparse but I've been messing with pool equipment for years so it wasn't that big of a deal. If you're lucky this you won't need and pvc pipes or fittings. I had to go to the pool store and to home depot a few times. It had no leaks. My pool was clear after several days.

Awesome product.
This is a quality product, large tanks, motor and a solid thick base. A quality high pressure hose , two hose to connect to the pool an associated pvc fittings and stainless steel clamps. I sent back one of those over 14in with the electronic control - it was a toy stay away. This pump/ filter can't be beat for the price. I seen plenty pumps and this is equivalent to the more expensive pumps sold by the pool stores. You will not be disappointed. For a hundred bucks more than the cheaper version it will be money well spent.
