Leopold FC750R PD 87keys High-end Mechanical Keyboard MX Cherry Switch 1.5mm PBT (Grey/Blue, White Switch)

This is a review by Oscar Jaeger, Lois's husband. I purchased this beautiful and well-made keyboard to use for typing text, not for gaming, and for that purpose it is a bit too loud for my comfort. To be sure, it seems to be as quiet as, or perhaps even quieter than, many other keyboards, including those that use Topre switches. I do like this keyboard's MX Cherry clear switches for their tactility. But I found two other keyboards with comparable tactility that are quieter. These two keyboards are no longer being manufactured but you can still purchase them online: the Apple A1048 and the Macally iKey4.
