Replica WW2 German Panzer M43 Field Cap

I had a hat like this many years ago. Happy to find this same classic design and its of good quality materials workmanship too. Sizing is spot on. Would buy again. Good value!

I ordered a 63cm but I wear a 60cm on purpose. Wool hats have always shrinked up on me and became to small and looked odd when worn. So I ordered a larger size. Soaked in hot water for 30 minutes, dried in the dryer for 30 minutes and it fits like a glove and doesn’t look like a hat that’s to small for my head. Great quality, color stayed very black. Love it.

This is a great reproduction hat as a modern day everyday winter hat. It is very durable and don't stretch. It will keep your head warm in any weather conditions

I saw a video on how to shrink a wool cap. Better too large than too small.

Decent quality construction. Stitching is tight and regular. Weight of the material is not as heavy as some repros I own, but not bad either. Like the other repro caps I own this has a cardboard brim covered in "wool" (Which the originals also had.), but if I had one thing I'd wish for is that they used a bit heavier cardboard. (And I say "wool" because none of the repros are all wool, but a blend.) Despite that, it's a functional cap.Product shipped and arrived within two weeks of ordering. (Which is no mean feat coming from England to the US AND having to clear customs. Kudos for that.)But the sizing can't be correct. I own two other M43 repro caps (One black, one field grey), both listed as size 61 cm. (That should be about a 7 3/4 US size.) I can wear both, but they are a bit snug. I was excited to see this available in size 63 cm (About a US 7 7/8) which is a bit big for me, but should fit better than the other two. This cap is TOO small to fit comfortably on my head. That's the reason for the so-so rating. Wish it had worked out better. I'd be quite happy otherwise.

Fits as expected

Given the fact that it was made by hand and shipped as a single item all the way from China, this hat is quite a bargain at $34.00. It’s well made and has a nice grey lining, although it’s not as heavy as some of the other reproductions I own. I would agree that it runs slightly small, especially if you have a full head of hair. If not, size runs true. I do not believe, however, that it would meet the exacting standards of a living history buff. That said, it is a nice, warm hat that I’m confident will last a long time. 谢谢

Die M34 ist ein zeitloser Klassiker. Die Mütze fühlt sich durch die Wolle sehr warm an. Das Design erlaubt dieser edlen Kopfbedeckung, Anpassung an jede Wetterlage. Man sieht sofort, dass der Aufpreis (im Vergleich zu der 1/3 billigeren Version aus Baumwolle), eine bessere und hochwertigere Verarbeitung hat. Die Passform ist für meine Rübe, perfekt. Ich konnte bis jetzt keinen Minuspunkt, in irgendeiner Form feststellen.Wer eine längere Lieferzeit in Kauf nimmt, wird mit einer tollen Mütze belohnt. Es lohnt sich!

La prenda en sí no está demasiado bien fabricada, aunque existe una buena relación calidad-precio. He visto mejores réplicas, pero más caras. El precio que tiene no está del todo mal. O sea, me parece bastante aceptable, en líneas generales.

Excellent piece of WW2 kit. It is so realistic and authentic looking. I wear it all the time as an every day cap. It fits perfectly, but if in doubt get it one size smaller, it will easily stretch to fit.
