My husband loves it. Great condition. This used book has a plastic cover over the original cover so he can't look inside the front cover. Great detail about the different nose art pieces. We saw this book at a military museum and he has wanted it since.

Randy Walker's exhaustive round-up of the 1990s USAF nose art explosion (triggered by both the Heritage Project and the ludicrous censoriousness of the first Gulf War), is one of the most important books published on this subject. With most of these artworks now long-gone (not to mention many of the aircraft), it stands as testament to what must now be considered the second golden age of nose art (after WW2), and a tribute to the imagination and resourcefulness of fighting men & women. Highly recommended for anyone interested in art, aircraft or modern military history.
