works well and easy to use
just excellent, I didn't believe in it when I ordered it, since my fabric was pretty thick coton, and button pretty small (3/4 inch, 19mm), I was sure it will made a lot of little folds around the button .....and finally no, it works well, fast and easy ........just amazing. The pusher looks to be a little flimsy, I didn;t try with it, I used a 10mm wrench socket to push the back in

Just need enough pressure
In the video I’m using a thick canvas material and I just happen to have a press machine. If you don’t have one, I would suggest finding a nut of some sort that fits the diameter of your button. I found a plastic part from my sewing machine that is sturdier than the blue cap they give you, but it works as well. Then I would put it under the leg of your chair or couch and give it enough pressure to fit snuggly but not bend the metal. Another tip, if you use a thicker material than wet it first. This helps not only to make the fabric less stiff but also makes a suction sound when you press it that lets you know it’s good to go. Also hard to take apart again if you do it correctly, no glue necessary. *Cannot be used with leather. I tried chrome tan and pig skin, neither worked because there’s little give to the material.

Easy to use button covering kit, but there are only 17 sets.
Makes cloth buttons easy. However, there were only 17 sets in this package and this seems to be a common practice. Even a youtuber giving a tutorial counted only 17 sets. Not a huge deal since I didn't need all 18 sets, but honest advertising would be nice.

Work well!
These work just as expected. Easy to cover and tools needed are provided. I've used these countless times for sewing projects, pretty good for the cost.

Inconsistent quality control
Bought 2 packs, neither of which had the correct number of buttons included. One pack only had 17 buttons instead of 18, and the other had 19 shanks and 17 blanks….annoying because I needed exactly 36 for my project and am now forced to buy an extra pack of “18” only use 1 button out of it.
