battery installed with minimal difficulties
I have an electronic background so I needed the battery to restore my device. The hardest part is the tiny pieces but i was able to get this done in just over 1 hour. Now Im able to enjoy my old songs I would have lost without the replacement.

Simple enough replacement battery for my IPod shuffle.

Difficult Assembly
You really need to be confident in your DIY abilities before you try to replace your battery on your iPod Shuffle. Then get ready for the disappointment when it does not work as in my case. I had a model railroader helping me as well. In the end, this did not work.Just be forewarned about this.

Battery shot
Dead battery, test bad and won’t charge

2 batteries and neither worked
followed directions to replace battery, tried twice - first time I cut the wires so I didn't have to solder the pcb, the battery failed very quickly and wouldn't charge. The next one I went ahead and unsoldered from the pcb. Same result, no power, iPod wouldn't charge, etc. So I gave up.

Battery Loses Charge
The battery seemed ok, charging in a reasonable time. Now, about 1 week past the last time to return it, it will not hold a charge. Charge it fully 1 day, let it sit for 24 hr and the battery is so low no music will play. I noticed this a few days ago. It was past the return date then, but I tried charging it a few times just to be sure.
