It seems to be well made and sturdy, just wish the hook was steel and not plastic but the color is closer to chrome then gray so im extremely happy with it.

Good retraction, fairly robust.
I had one of these for years, and it finally broke where the retract line goes into the housing; unrepairable. It works well, as shown by the repurchase to replace a broken unit. The one compliant is that on rough roads the mic will get to swinging, and a heavy Astatic mic can cause some serious bodily harm if it gets up enough velocity and bonks you on the head.
