***EDIT: Forgot to post that I'm 5'9" and 195lbs which might be helpful for anyone considering purchasing the dress**This is an EXTREMELY high quality costume for the price! TL;DR : construction excellent, petticoat and shawl included with purchase, fits true to measurements.Secondly, I made sure to measure myself twice prior to placing order. Based on my measurents I could've mostly fit into the L size. However, my waist was a few CM bigger than the L size waist measurement. So with that, I decided on the 1X/2X option. I'm very glad I did that.The 1/2X fits like a darn glove. My only minor critique, as you'll see in my photos of the dress on my body, is that I have a bit longer torso, so the 'corset' sits a little awkwardly somewhere between my upper ribcage and just above my natural waist.I *think* I can make some alterations to remedy that, and I'm okay with that. This was not a custom ordered costume, and thus I knew it wouldn't be tailored exactly to my body. As far as that goes, I cannot reiterate enough how well it does indeed fit.So let's talk about construction!Fabric-wise the dress is made of decent quality materials. The beige top is made of a soft material similar to chiffon in feeling. The black faux corset is made from a satin like fabric, though not very shiny. I guess a matte satin? The skirt is also made of satin, though it is shiny. The skirt doesn't look too cheesy though, like not Walmart costume fabric shiny if that makes sense. Overall the fabrics look to be reasonable quality.The sewing is excellent with no noticeable loose threads or anything of that nature. The seams are all very even and well-stitched.This ensamble is all a single dress, and not separate pieces. I actually like this because it's super super easy to just throw on. There's a side-zipper, a button on the top back of the collar, and a lace-up back as well so it's very good quality with regards to getting it on and adjusting fitment.Also included were a petticoat (single layer), headband (standard black plastic affair), and the beautiful shawl. I thought including the petticoat was a nice touch! I might stitch in a few more layers of tulle to the petticoat for some extra volume, but it's a nice touch they included it at all. Nothing molds my cheese more than a dress without a petticoat.OVERALL THIS IS AN EXCELLENT COSPLAY I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT IT!!!

I love this outfit! I was worried it wouldn't fit because I have relatively broad shoulders and an athletic build. I am also tall (5'10) so I was worried about it being short. It fits like a charm! Not too snug on the torso and perfect length (mid-calf). The colors are so pretty and it comes with the shawl, dress, petticoat and black headband! Only part that is too small for me are the buttons on the sleeve. I can hardly get my wrist through the sleeve when its buttoned but simple solution for me is to just leave it unbuttoned. Highly recommend!

My family and I have a con coming up, and this was going to be my mothers cosplay. It’s very cute, but she tried it on she couldnt move very well. I reccomend this, but sizing up would be a wise decision.

Overall I am happy with this costume. Definitely size up! It does run kind of small which is why I went with a bigger size just in case. I had issues with it getting lost and had reorder but the wait was worth it! It is a one piece which is nice. Definitely a good choice for this particular costume.

The costume was better than I had hoped. Good quality of material. A note of caution. I am 5’1” and 115lbs, and I ordered a medium (in almost everything else in life I am a size small). There is plenty of room in the bust and hips, but it was somewhat snug in the waist. Also the dress is supposed to be mid-calf length, but it came down to my ankles (which I guess is to be expected given my height). I like the “shawl” that it came with (just an extra piece of fabric) and the underskirt. The headband however, is just a cheap piece of plastic. All in all, a great Aurora costume, especially for the price.

So disappointed! Definitely size up! I did and it was still too small. I am a powerlifter, so my arms and back are wider than most women, so I sized up and it was still too small. The best part of the costume is the shawl. The dress is one entire piece. The white blouse material is thin and see through, and has absolutely zero stretch. The black corset is stretchy but it’s pointless as the white part doesn’t stretch. The stitching that connects the blouse and corset was not quality at all as some of it was undone when the product arrived. Yes, my costume arrived with holes. I can repair them, but I shouldn’t have to. The skirt is alright but again, the material is cheap and I wish it was made of similar material as the shawl. Oh well. I hope I can make this work.

Pretty material but not worth the cost. Ordered a size larger than normal but the costume was at least two sizes smaller. Returned .
