Hardware House H10-4364 Dover Mini Pendant, Satin Nickel

I bought this small chandelier to replace an old track light in my kitchen. I was unable to find anything at Home Depot or Lowe's that was as attractive as this one, let alone reasonably-priced. Well, this one is very nice. It was easy to install, for those who have a little experience with light fixtures or ceiling fans, and the light it produces is virtually shadowless in my light-colored kitchen. It comes with a generous length of chain, but take care in removing links because the metal is pretty strong, and it is easy to mar it when adjusting. I first used a combination of pliers and a screwdriver as recommended, but found it easier to use two pairs of pliers padded with cloth. I am very satisfied with this simple but elegant chandelier.

Since I am in the process of getting my house ready for sale, I needed to replace my antique crystal chandelier for something as inexpensive as possible - without looking too tacky for prospective buyers! For the price, I was so pleased with this fixture!! I was worried it would look small in my formal dining room - or look out of place in my 1920s colonial home -- but it looks great! As a matter of fact, I think it looks better in my formal dining room than my expensive antique chandelier. The quality is top notch - nothing cheap or plasticy. All components were included for an easy swap between the two fixtures - including a ceiling cap to cover the electrical, so a medallion is not essential, if you don't want to spend the money. I am very impressed.

This pendent is almost identical to one I purchased quite a few years ago. We're selling our home, I don't want to leave it and I needed something to replace mine. I was happy to find this because of its similarity to what I have. Because there are 3 rods that come with this pendant, you choose how long or how short you want it to be. Each rod is 12 inches long, excluding the male thread that is on 2 of the rod ends. 2 rods are what I call male on 1 end, female on the other end. The other rod is female on each end. If you only want it 12 inches, you'd use the female rod only. You can't cut the rod any shorter because of the threading of each end. The shades diameter at the widest, the bottom, is 9 1/2 inches. The pendent that this replaces has been in 3 homes, in our first home it was above my washer/dryer, then it was near my stove, and finally upstairs in the hallway. This Dover pendant throws great light, just as mine does. I suppose if it's the only light in your kitchen, then yes, it wouldn't be the best. Hang 1 or 2 over your island as secondary lighting, and hey, plenty of light IMHO. We also started with a 60 watt bulb and it was way too bright. This is a really pretty light fixture at a super reasonable price. It throws off a ton of light, too. The only reason I'm not giving it five stars is because the assembly/installation process is a bit more complicated than it needs to be. When assembling it, there are rods and spacers and things without adequate instructions for how to install them. I figured it out, but even still, there's a long rod that goes through the fixture, and there are no markings that indicate how far down on that rod you need to install the stoppers that go behind the glass globe, so that the finial on the bottom of the glass globe fits snugly with no gaps. It's total trial and error. The first time I guessed at the distance, it didn't leave enough threads below the glass for the finial to sit tightly. I disassembled back to that point to fix it, but overshot my estimate and left too many threads showing. Finally, like Goldilocks, the third time I got it right. The annoying part is that this whole experience happened with my arms overhead while standing on a ladder. You can't really pre-assemble the globe and easily install the fixture. If I had to do a bunch of them, I would probably figure out the rough distance while on the ground, and mark it with a Sharpie or something. But it would have helped if they pre-marked the rod themselves, or even manufactured it with a stopper already in place. Oh well. Still totally worth buying the light fixture.

This item arrived promptly and in good condition. This is an attractive ceiling fixture. I purchased this fixture for a bathroom remodel (on a budget) and it was very easy to install. This worked very well for the space and puts out a nice warm light. The finish is an oil rubbed bronze and the shade is a champagne color. This fixture is metal and the shade is glass. This was a good and affordable value for my project. It looks much nicer than the gold fixtures originally installed. It appears to be good quality and looks more expensive than what it actually cost. I would probably consider purchasing this brand again.

I bought 2 of these, in January and March of 2020 and I absolutely love them. They are a little on the darker side of the oil rubbed bronze rather than some of the browner looking ones. I prefer the dark like these. The glass has an Amber tint which I find soothing. We have one in our dining room and one in our entry way. The ugly tacky 90's fan that we had above our dining room table before was way off center, so we bought a ceiling hook to center this chandelier over the table and it worked perfectly. This chandelier really gave the whole room a face lift and makes it so much brighter in the best way! Such a simple update! Easy to install, too. The chain is customizable to the length you need. I definitely recommend these!!

Beautiful chandelier! You will be extremely hard pressed to find a chandelier of this quality for a better price! This isnt top of the line or anything you'd see in a model home but it is very elegant. Up close you can see the quality of the glass isnt pristine but I was surprised at how good it looked for the price I paid. Once hung I cant see any defects or flaws. It gives a very elegant glow to our apartment living room. I purchased an UL aftermarket plug and a remote controlled dimmer. So this makes for a fairly fancy pendant light. I recommend getting LED bulbs so you wont have to change bulbs in the next 5-10 years. The arms on the chandelier are shipped collapsed to save space so make sure you have them perfectly aligned before hanging so you dont have to go back and straighten. Highly recommend this for your living space!

Very happy with the quality and overall look once installed. I bought both the three light and the five light fixture. The three light fixture makes a great entry way light. The five light was for a dining room. I have 14' ceilings so with the full length of chain provided the bottom of the light hangs about 7' above the floor, which puts them about even with the top of the doorway. I had these professionally installed by an electrician and he was very impressed, especially when I told him what the price was.

J'ai fait une nouvelle pièce dans ma grande résidence. Ce plafonnier est similaire aux beaux que j'ai dans la maison. Tout le monde remarque que ce n'est pas la qualité quand il y regarde de près mais tout de même pour le prix je suis bien satisfait. La différence avec un plafonnier similaire est que pour certaines personne le métal leur semble être du plastique alors que les lampes de qualité le métal a l'air de métal brossé. Il fait tout de même grande résidence.
