Mainstay` 8-Shelf Home Cube Bookcases in White Finish with Set of 2 Storage Bins INCLUDED!

These are great shelves! We are still in the process of finishing off the details (we want to add trim and some facing) to make 3 of the shelves look like one large built in bookshelf, but I am loving these shelves for our tiny messy apartment. Easy enough to put together, I built one by myself with a screwdriver, don't recommend this, but the other two went fast with our cordless drill and two of us working on building them. We did have to raise them up behind the couch for the look we were going for. Highly recommend!!

Well after a few weeks I finally can leave a review! & can use my shelves!I had ordered two and they came on different days I had one put together, easy assemble process if you follow directions. We bought them to place our plates and cups to have more cupboard space in the kitchen.The second shelf came a few days later, with NO hardware. We called and we're sent the hardware right way, sadly I had to wait another week to set up the second shelf.I got the hardware and was excited to finally put it together only to find out two pieces of wood were missing half way through. We called customer service again and were sent the pieces right away. Even though I had to leave the half assembled shelf in the middle of my floor for over a week I'm still giving five stars because customer service was on top of everything and the shelfs are steardy and beautiful looking. Perfect for what I intended them for!

These units assemble quite quickly however quality is lacking. Typical Chinese hardware is disappointing but is to be expected at this price point. Countersink screws do not come with caps or even enough white stickers to hide the screws. Minor flaws such as dried glue on the surface, and chips on finished edges are easy to find on many pieces. Predrilled holes are oversized for the dowels but all holes were accurately drilled.The units are functional and look pretty nice.I hung them on the wall using a ledger board underneath.Would buy these again but fussy people should stay clear.

I wanted to love this, but once assembly is over, the top half of the shelf appears crooked and bowed. I checked and double-checked to ensure I followed directions correctly, and I did. I worked on this with a handyman friend of mine, in fact. I looked at pictures of other people's shelves and I could see that some were straight, and others had slight variations of the problems I had. The top of the shelf is extremely bowed, despite just a few paperbacks being placed on top. It's because the central piece that holds the board up is too short. I will call Amazon or the manufacturer to get a discount or my money back.

Purchased three of these. Assembly was a bit tricky...but be sure to look at each picture carefully to ensure that every step was completed before moving to the next. I organized all the pieces and performed the each step on each of the same units ... then moved to the next step. Very heavy when assembled, so I recommend assembling them near the place they will be used. The only thing I do not like are the cheap circular white stickers that are supposed to "hide" the screws. Other than that, I am quite happy with my purchase of the three bookcases.

I love it. Its kinda confusing to assemble at first but once you get the hang of it, its pretty fast. Very spacious. Arrived early. No damage. Would recommend.

The bookshelf itself is very gorgeous in my home. I loved the way it turned out. The wood seems a tad bit cheaper than what the price point is IMO. However it is sturdy once all the pieces are in place. The top does dip somewhat, but it could be helped with the L shaped pieces on top I think. The directions were pretty easy to follow. Bottom line it's a cool design and I'm happy! Shipping seemed to take a long time and when sending a message to the seller they didn't answer. Other than that it was worth the wait!

I'm really happy with this bookshelf. I'm using it as a standing desk as well as for storage and display. I have it turned on its side to use it as as standing desk. I had to add a small stand for my computer to get it at the proper height.I like the asymmetrical shelves and that it's not a standard design. It was a very reasonable price for the size and design and it goes well with the modern look I'm going for in my office. I've only had it up for a few days but I expect it will last awhile as long as I don't move it around much.
