This supplement has been a great help for my son who was low on iron but since having this he is been eating a lot more and he loves the taste! I noticed that making it a fun time he is able to drink it with no problem, we even have a song to drink his iron and vitamins. Truly grateful I found this instead of the enfamil one thats full of addictives and sugar

This is the absolutely best product that I have used for my son. He loves the flavor. It’s easy on his stomach. It’s last a very long time. I do see a huge difference. He’s eating more and ever since his iron supplement has been implemented . He’s extremely picky so I’ve been wasting a lot of money another products that he does not like but this one he really likes so amazing supplement.

This is the third time I’ve ordered this product. My 5 year love’s having it. It’s the only one in the market that he takes without a argument it provides the necessary Iron for his age

This does have a better taste than just plain iron supplements however I still think it has a blood taste to it. My toddler takes it ok tho

You see, my 4-year-old son has autism and was diagnosed with anemia. He doesn't eat anything but fruit, milk, and juice. There was no way for him to get the iron, so his pediatrician recommended this wonderful syrup. And I say wonderful because it is! This is the first time I haven't struggled to give him his medicine! Its flavor is amazing. The pediatrician recommended giving it to him in its own juice, and so I did. He takes it without any problem and can't even tell the taste apart; it's so good. I definitely recommend it. I'll update later to let you know how the anemia results came out and to see if this helped. I really hope it does!

I have been using this brand of pediatric iron drops for almost a year now. Our son, who has recently been diagnosed with ADHD, was low on iron and our pediatrician recommended putting him on a popular brand of iron supplement for children. Being the researcher that I am I did some digging to find a brand that had good reviews without the added artificial coloring and garbage. I came across NovaFerrum Pediatric Drops and was very intrigued. After reading some reviews, particularly the one(s) complaining about the product ingredient Sodium Benzoate, I decided to contact the manufacturer to communicate about the ingredient and express my concerns. Of course I researched Sodium Benzoate since I had never heard of it before. It is a preservative used to keep pathogens from contaminating products, such as pediatric iron drops, and getting consumers sick. Now, there's a whole slew of information out there about this particular preservative, (which you will find in/on a ton of things...from Taco Bell sauce packets to fresh produce at your grocery store) and most if it is bad. This is the reason I contacted the manufacturer...and I am very glad I did. They responded to my inquiry very quickly to address my concerns and answer some other questions I had. As luck would have it the company was at a business meeting in my home town that week and the "customer service rep" who responded was going to be there. He offered to meet me at the expo to give me a couple samples and discuss my concerns. I thought this was a great opportunity to talk about my concerns and try the product. When I met with the "rep" it turned out to be none other than the CEO and Founder of Gensavis Pharmaceuticals. I was very impressed at his willingness to meet with me and discuss his product. He explained to me that he created this product for his own daughter so she could get her iron supplement without having the tummy problems that normally accompany iron supplementation. He addressed my concerns about Sodium Benzoate by explaining why it's in there. There is a trace amout present in the product because this product is given to neonates who, obviously, have very delicate and weak immune systems. A trace amount that will protect teeny babies from getting sick in the event contamination occurs all the while giving them the iron they so need to thrive. Needless to say this changed my thinking. I appreciate his willingness to explain and stand by his product and to take time out of his busy schedule to address my concerns. Very excellent customer service...probably the best I've received.My personal experience with the product itself had been great. My son had sensory issues and often has a hard time with tastes and textures. This produce does have an iron, metalic taste. That's hard to completely avoid in something like this. However, the smell and flavor is absolutely better than the other brands we've tried hands down. I can get my son to take it straight, but he does make a face when he swallows it. So, I have opted to give him his entire daily dose in his morning orange juice. The vitamin C aids in absorption. This product is very gentle on his stomach and had never caused him problems. He drinks his orange juice with no fuss at all and sometimes, if you can believe it, reminds me to put his iron in his OJ. Hooray!!I won't claim this product to be a miracle supplement, but will absolutely express my astonishment at how this iron supplement has improved my son's behavior tremendously. For those who aren't familiar with ADHD, most children with the disorder are anemic. Anemia itself causes fatigue along with a slew of other symptoms which, as you can imagine, leads to a grumpy kid. A grumpy ADHD kid, at that. Oy. Vey. While I will not claim this product has cures his ADHD and behavior issues, it has made an amazing difference in his iron levels and subsequently his behavior. If he feels better he'll do better!! Simple as that.In summation, I am extremely satisfied with the effectiveness of this product as well as the customer service I received from the company. I highly recommend this product!!I do suggest getting your doctor's approval before giving iron supplements to children.

Worked great to raise iron levels in my toddler. He was fine with the taste and doesnt seem to give him a tummy ache.
