£20? They sound a heck more expensive ...
I have quite pairs of headphones ranging from £10 to £400. The saying that you get what you pay is true with better quality materials playing the biggest factor. These MPow headphines seem to say you can get good quality for peanuts. The MPOW BH251A come in a neat circular case containing the headphones, four different sized soft ear buds and a micro USB which is only a few inches long. The instruction booklet is simple and self explanatory. Pairing was straightforward and within seconds had Amazon Music blasting through. The headphones in their natural stage are good but it's when you start fiddling around with equaliser settings that these headphones start to demonstrate a capability way beyond their price point. I threw Metallica, A-ha and Holst at these and the result was exceptional. A clearly defined soundstage and depth which makes the likes of other sports headphones sound totally inadequate.Comfort wise, these headphones are extremely light and you don't realise you have them on.For phone calls, the headphones performed brilliantly without any dropouts. Battery life is near enough to 9 hours after a 2 hour charge. The likes of Jam Audio and Sony ought to be afraid - very afraid.

Very good sound + comfortable to wear
I run for between 20 to 40 minutes, around three times a week - so I have tried many pairs of Bluetooth earphones. These Mpow earphones compare very favourably with pairs that cost around a hundred British units of currency (for some reason, Am*zon won't let me use the word "p0undz".I'll cover several points separately in my review:========================PAIRING========================Pairing was very straightforward. I pressed the right ear "on" button for several seconds and the earphones went into pairing mode. Once that was done, switching the earphones on or off gets an audio prompt saying "power on... your headset is connected" or "power off". I find the audio prompts really handy.========================SOUND QUALITY========================The sound quality is very good. The bass is excellent - for example I listen to a lot of dance and R&B - and I would give the bass a score of 8/10 marks compared to the very best earphones I've experienced. Mid tones and vocals are well represented and clear, again scoring 8/10. My only minor issue is that the treble is a little quieter than the better earphones I've tried - so I would score this as worth 7/10 marks. It took a bit of effort (maybe 5 to 10 minutes) to find the right fit for really good sound. For example, my ear canals are relatively large so the larger rubber (silicone?) tips helped me to get a better fit. There is also a clip for tying an excess length of cord up; however, I found that if I tied these too tightly, the cord actually tended to pull the earphones slightly back out of my ear (which meant that I got less bass). Obviously, everyone will need to find the right combination of ear tips and cord length. If you're not getting great sound quality, then do try to play around with these features. On phone calls, I have found the sound quality and connection quality to be excellent. I asked a couple of people how they found the sound quality and they could not tell that I was using a handsfree set.========================COMFORT AND FEATURES========================The earphones are very light and comfortable to wear. Even after a full 45 minutes of wear (while running), I didn't notice them. The hooks that go over the ears are flexible and very light, so they don't squeeze my ears. The earbuds fit snugly but not uncomfortably. The right earphone has a "+/-" (plus/minus) rocker for controlling your music. Press once to increase/decrease sound. Press for 2 seconds to fast forward/skip back.========================ACCESSORIES========================I like that the earphones come with a black and red (neoprene or neoprene-like material) case. I uploaded two photos of the exterior and interior of the case so you can see what it actually looks like in reality as opposed to a professional marketing photograph! The slightly hard case means that my earphones are not going to be squashed when I throw them into either a day bag or suitcase.========================OVERALL========================Overall, a really good pair of over-the-ear sport-style Bluetooth earphones. I once listened to a pair of Bluetooth Beats headphones (costing over a hundred and twenty notes). I would say that these Mpow earphones deliver roughly the same sound experience as the Beats ones.

Good value
I was pleased to be able to try these as I needed a set of headphones for the gym. I have tried Apple’s AirPods but had problems with fit, they would not stay in place during any strenuous exercise which was a bit of an issue. So these, with their over ear hook seems ideal. a Full charge took less than an hour, although there was some charge on arrival, so difficult to be precise. Pairing was simple, and the only issue on the negative side is one which applies to all these ‘phones - it takes a while to get the hang of how many taps and on which side will get tracks or volume changed, but no big deal really. These are £20 and so the sound quality reflects that but to be fair it’s pretty good and let’s face it these aren’t designed for audiophiles, they are mainly for use when exercising.

MPow sport headphones lack the POW factor
These are a cheap pair of sports headphones designed for activities like running, cycling or hiking. The sound is a bit tinny but it works quite well so for the price it’s a bargain. The biggest issue I have with in ear headphones is that they keep falling out so the fact that these also clip over your ear is much better. What’s in the box:A hard carry caseThe headphonesInstruction leafletUSB charger cable (no plug included)2 packets of silicone and foam tips (sizes XS - L)Setting up:Unpack and switch on by pressing the main button for 1-2 secondsTurn on Bluetooth pairing mode (by pressing on/off button for 3-4 seconds)Turn on your phones Bluetooth and select the MPow D8 to pair the devices. That’s it.Performance:Sound quality is ok but a bit tinny. Volume is good. You can increase or decrease volume using the small buttons on the top of the headphones. The fit is comfortable once you find the right size tips. The two headphones are connected with a cable that goes behind your head and has an adjustable strap to keep from flapping around. They stay on nicely during a light jog and walking. Battery life is ok. All in all an ok sport headphones but sound quality is average.
