This works so perfectly that my daughter's roommate got one too. I thought this platform would be slanted or unstable or flimsy. It's none of these. Very sturdy, holds book and phone, plus the water bottle. Could not be better. Just get it.

This worked so great to add to my son’s medical/hospital bed rail. It looks nice, it fits well, it was very easy to assemble! I wasn’t sure if it would be worth the money, but now that it’s here and we’re using it, it was a great choice.

My bed is a platform bed. It has a mattress so the tray would not stay on tye side board.

As advertised. Seems sturdier than the plastic ones I've seen. If you want a large surface area, this might not be for you. But if you just want to hold a book and glasses, etc it's perfect. Nice adjustability.

When I received my product, the box was damaged—it looked like a returned item had been repackaged and sent to me. After I opened the product, I noticed that I needed parts that would have been necessary to assemble it adequately. Unfortunately, that is not all. The item would have failed quality control. The paint was chipped on the back and dried bulky on the front. The padding is a very cheap material, and it doesn't align with the metal rod. RETURNING.
