These dried mangos have added sugar, but are not too sweet to me. When the sugar disolves in my mouth, a slight sour flavor kicks in, which is the true mango flavor.The texture is a little chewy.Rich in fibers.Lowest price for a one pound bag of dried mango. One reason maybe the added sugar weigh a few ounces, so that less mango fruit can be used to make 1 lb.In general, it is a good dried fruit snack if fresh mangos are not available, too expensive, or too much trouble to peel and cut.to you.

It was always a treat to eat the authentic Philippine dried Mangos. I figured I’d try Sun Made’s version and to my surprise, it was terrific. Not as sugary as the Philippine ones, which is a good thing, but the taste is just as good if not better. They are sweet and it’s like you’re biting into a fresh Mango. Hopefully they keep making these because it’s time to order some more!

Update: very inconsistent product. I get it, it’s nature. But are mangoes not currently in season? I just recently bought two more bags. Now, I’ve purchased this at least 10 times. Both of these bags came with different dates. The first bag I don’t even know how to explain it. Dry as can be and just tasting off. So I opened the second bag. And it was just a different type of weirdness. Neither of these bags are edible imo. And out of the 10 bags that I’ve purchased, I’m going to say this was true for at least four of them. Will I buy them again? I’ll definitely try it one more time. Looking at this review, I paid more when I first posted it. The last 2 bags I got were $9 vs $14. Did they produce too many and this is the outcome? All I know is the two recent bags are the worst so far. And if I order again, and they come like that again, this will go down to a one star and I’ll shop around.These are prob the best dried mangoes I’ve had in a long time. I hate eating a bag, all happy, only to get a nasty unripe piece. It ruins it all. This bag tho. One. I kid you not, one pc was like this. I’m so impressed. Why four stars? Two reasons. The price is a bit steep. $14/bag. Yes, they were good. Next reason, all the added sugar! No wonder they’re so good. I love everything about the is product except all that sugar. Will I splurge again? Heck yeah. Hoping this comes to stores soon!

Be careful ordering this item. My granddaughter was very happy to receive it but when she tried it, the pieces she tried had an "off" taste and smelled rotten. After five tries of being asked the same question about a refund, I still didn't get an answer about a refund and was sent back to the page I had just come from. Not happy with the product or the service. If I could not get a refund, they could have at least stated that instead of taking me back to the same pages over and over.
