It was ok, the sand would get stuck and you would have to shake it to get it going again. I dropped mine and it hit something hard and shattered onto my carpet. It’s very fine sand so I haven’t been able to get the red spot out of my carpet.

I timed the 30 minute timer the day it arrived, and it was somewhere around 29:45. I just needed a ballpark timer so that worked for me. It’s been less than a week and it’s gotten clogged twice, and just stopped halfway through a cycle. A timer that can’t be trusted is garbage.

I bought this item to manage my time, but I had to manage this sand timer’s time. Initially this timer helped me and worked well, but later on the sand did not fall down to the lower part.

First of all, I didn't expect this to be dead on 30 minutes. I did expect some deviance in time measurement. But to be 91 seconds off is a little much. I use this for instrument practice for my children. They get out early because of this. Is it a big deal? No. But don't use this in anything that requires decent time measurement.
