This product allowed me to connect two dryers to the same exhaust duct.The price of this product was reasonable and quality was good.A shutoff valve was added to each dryer to prevent back-feeding exhaust from one dryer to the other.

Nice solid material, even if it is plastic it has a nice density to it. So far, it holds its shape well in use behind my dryer. The clamps work well also.

Bathroom vent pipes transfer damp conditioned air to the outside of a house. Since bathroom fan kits include check valves, combining both into one external outlet should not reduce performance. This plastic Y will not rust, and includes three (3) hose clamps to keep the exhaust hoses from leaking into the attic.

Nice connector, no issues

I ordered this thinking that it was designed for joining 2 dryer ducts to an output vent. While it my work okay for this purpose, it is not baffled inside to prevent any air backflow. This is unfortunate as this means that anything (dust) that blows from one dryer will equally exit through the vent as well as backflow into the other dryer. If they had added a baffle/divider in the center of the output vent side, this would not have been the case... instead, now I will need two filters before this joiner and there will be much more maintenance effort due to necessary regular cleaning. Attaching the hoses is a bit more difficult as they need to be on the outside of this to be clamped down.If you have a need for a vent joiner that is not a dryer, this might be of use to you... but for dryers, I am rating this three stars only because it works though it is far from ideal. As always, your mileage and preferences may vary...
