Victor Schmidt - Austria Mozartkugeln - 825g

If you like marzipan then these chocolates are for you. They are a truffle wrapped in marzipan coated in chocolate. I first discovered them when I was in Vienna and bought several bags to bring home. Unfortunately I have never been able to get them in this country and have only ever had them when friends have been abroad and bought me some. As they are my favourite chocolate I thought I would look on Amazon and was thrilled to find them,rather expensive due to postage but as a special treat worth every penny!

Husband is a great marzipan fan and "Mozart balls" in particular. These have a good texture and flavour and are excellent for training husbands to cook dinner if two are allowed after a reasonable meal as a reward.

We discovered these wonderful marzipans two years ago, and they are now a family holiday favorite! The carton is placed out on the table next to the Christmas Tree for family and guests. Marvelous along with a hot cup of tea or coffee or while sipping a sherry! A truly decadent treat!!

In an effort to resurrect a memory from my mothers holiday to Austria her having returned with the Mirabel Mozarts balls. I mistakenly ordered these and was instantly aware that they were not the same. But still enjoyable. Having now ordered the Mirabel at tie the price I can say I am totally disappointed with the ones that claim to be the originals very poor chocolate. So in hindsight, I would say these are by far the better confectionary. Despite not being the originals.

Love these. Had not heard of them before seeing them elsewhere but found these were better value. Everyone who has tasted them loves them. If you like marzipan you will too. Big, chunky and rich tasting.

Mozart chocolates are Soooooooo good. They remind me of holidays in the alps so I try and get some every year for Christmas. Amazon offers them at a much better price than my local retailer who sells them and this box has LOADS in. Win win!

Sadly another failure, as these are stale, dry and I will have to thrown them awaay, I can't even give to the birds---such a waste and I have bought these for years an di Vienna too, they are supposed to be scrummy and have a soft centre, these were dry and hard balls wiht no taste left. £15+ wasted. Perhaps yu only sell products near oe on theor sell by date? Again no way of telling an human ahbout this
