I bought this mirror when I upgraded and purchased my daughter her "big girl" toddler car seat (one that eventually adjusts from rear-facing to front.) We are going on longer car trips now that she's a bona fide toddler and I wanted to be able to see if she's not only awake or asleep but also safe and happy as I drive longer distances. She's barely 18 mo old so she doesn't always answer me if I ask her how she's doing, so I hoped this mirror would help. It does! I had no problem putting this in position so I could view my daughter in her rear facing car seat. I'm typically admittedly hopeless at installing or putting together much of anything. My baby's dad always ends up putting things together and installing baby products. I couldn't even get our baby window shade in properly. But this was a cinch to put in my vehicle - I simply hung/strapped it around my rear seat headrest. I didn't even need to adjust it. It gave me a perfect view of my daughter immediately upon its initial installation. It's a good size, light weight but sturdy, very clear, and fit around my Toyota Prius' rear headrest easily. I love being able to quickly glance and see my daughter in her rear facing car seat. This mirror was an incredible bargain for that type of peace of mind! It's perfect - flawless. Can't think of anything about it that could improve it.An unexpected bonus - it is endlessly entertaining for my toddler! She LOVES looking at herself in it and sits in her car seat making funny faces and patting her ponytail (lol!) while watching herself. I can hear her cooing with happiness as she does this - and now I can also clearly SEE her doing so also! I don't have a DVD player or anything like that in my small car so it's a lovely bonus that my daughter is so very entertained and tickled by this mirror.I bought a different brand and type of baby car seat mirror when my daughter was a newborn. It was useless! We couldn't get it to adhere properly or stay put (it had a Velcro type backing that didn't hold or work at all) and it was weirdly small anyway. We ended up returning it. I was pleasantly surprised that this mirror works as simply and well as it does. This mirror is absolutely perfect! ! I'm keeping my daughter in a rear facing car seat as long as possible and bought her new car seat because it has one of the very highest weight/height limits available in any model for rear facing car seats. As such, I'll be using this for a good long time. Highly recommended

I purchased another mirror like this a year ago and the base broke where the straps attached and I had to throw out the entire mirror. I bought this one as a replacement and it is GREAT! The straps are attached at the base with a thicker section of plastic and less likely to break. The mirror doesn’t move when I drive. And the mirror is so large I can see the baby very well. Great product!

Picked up this mirror based on all of the positive reviews. Initially, this mirror wasn't going to work out for us. We were using it in a 2014 Mini Countryman and the mirror was shaking far too much to provide a usable view of our little one. We considered stuffing a towel or something behind the mirror but never got around to it.Fast forward to us changing cars to a 2017 Subaru Forrester and the mirror works like a champ! Great view, much more stable, nice large surface area, and easy to install/remove. Couldn't have asked for more and we are now very happy with this purchase.

Awesome baby car mirror!It fit my back seat perfectly (Subaru Forester) and I can see my lil guy clear as day.I love that it is nice and big and the clarity is better than any other brand I have seen and purchased.Safety First brand ( good company) was the worst mirror I purchased. It was like viewing my baby in a fun house mirror. Very disappointed!I will be adding pictures later.The mirror was easy for me to install.It has not shifted around ( from car vibrations/driving) like others I have tried and read about.The price and quality of safe baby tech is hands down tops! I highly recommend this mirror.

I have a car (Pontiac Grand Prix) that has headrests that don't have a gap between the seat and headrest and don't move. I looked for quite a while to find a mirror that fit my car considering most mirrors have straps that require a gap between the seat and headrest. This mirror works because the straps are at a diagonal so there is no gap required. On top of this being the only mirror that works for my car, it has an awesome, big and clear mirror that makes seeing my little one so easy. I absolutely love it!

I've only been able to use this once, since I am Grandma and don't have baby in my car all the time. But the one time I did use it, it was well worth the money! My grandbaby started coughing in the backseat and because of this mirror I was able to see her, clear as could be, and see that she was fine. I'm so glad I purchased this. Highly recommend this to all parents/ grandparents out there. It was easy to install and uninstall, since I don't have baby all the time, I can clip it to the head rest when I need it.

Beats the pants off the kind i originally had, i tried this after my first one melted in my hot car. I just bought my 4th one for personal use (2 kids x 2 cars)... larger mirror surface, great visibility and crispness of reflection, extremely adjustable for the perfect angle, and a great price. Extremely durable so far. This is the one i buy for baby showers and recommend to my friends.
