Berkley Gulp! Alive! Fishing Attractant Spray

I love this attractant!! I fish for Fluke (Summer Flounder) using Berkley Gulp Baits. I spray this attractant on my Gulp Bait each time, before i drop my line in the water. I usually spray a generous amount. You could probably spray much less than I do. This attractant has resulted in me catching lots of quality Fluke. I used this attractant to catch this 11.75 pound monster Fluke in photo!! This attractant also helps me catch lots of Black Sea Bass, Bluefish, and other species. I have only tried it for Saltwater fishing. This season I plan to apply this attractant to my lures and baits, for Freshwater fishing. It's worth a try. This attractant really works well with Berkley Gulp Baits. But I have also applied this attractant to Clam bait and other natural and artificial baits. Going back many years, I have enjoyed using Berkley products. Berkley is a great company that has lots of different products to make fishing more enjoyable and productive. I've used this attractant to fish on a boat this Winter in 23F degree weather. The attractant in the bottle did not freeze at all. I highly recommend using this attractant.

I ordered this product for an upcoming family vacation that is centered around fishing. New rods and reels for everyone, new lures, line, etc., etc., etc. However, when the box arrived with this Gulp product in it, what I got was a box that was covered with Gulp Fish Oil all over everything in the box and my bottle was nearly empty. It took quite some time to get all of the other products in the box cleaned up as best I could, and what I was left with was a bottle of about 1/16 of the Gulp Juice! Needless to say, I am very disappointed as the Gulp products are expensive! Good luck to us fishing now!

I had purchased a certain size and color of gulp twister tails because the manufacturer wasn't going to make them anymore (big mistake but you can't change closed minds). At first the sealed packages were fine but began drying out so I removed the gulp jigs and put them in small glass bottles then filled them to the top with attractant and sealed the bottles twist tops. There was enough juice left to fill other bottles that now contain other types of gulp jigs.

Even with the pathetic plastic wrap the bottle leaked and got all over everything in my shipment. Dog got a hold of a small piece with metal in it. Thankfully he didn't eat it and knew it wasn't ok. But the smell got him interested because he loves smelly things. Amazon!, liquids should be sent separately! I can't tell you how many times I've had leaked items. Having rotten shrimp smell leak all over other items exceeds any liquid I have bought. What if it was literally anything else?

I would give this five stars but the spray bottle leaks if not left upright the entire time. Luckily I had it in a ziplock the first time it went sideways inside a storage locker, saved the locker from filling with funky smelling attractant. Second time I left it in the boat while trailering and it got loose and rolled around the boat spilling almost the entire contents all over the boat.So I lost all the product due to spills and but the fish were very attracted to my boat :P

I have two bottles of this spray. One shrimp and 1 crab. I have caught plenty on the shrimp and none on the crab. I never catch anything right after I put the spray on my bait. It seems I catch them after it wears off. I know people swear by this, but in my experience I catch just as many fish without the spray!

This is only the third time in 50+ years of fishing I have deluded myself into thinking these attractants might work - wrong again!!! - my buddy using the same bait w/o the Gulp is steadily getting bites and landing cats while my bobber sits there motionless the whole time. Curses; bamboozled again!

Grin. I read a lot of reviews that said this stuff didn't smell like anything. We'll they're wrong on the Shrimp scent at least. Folks who have trudged in at night from surf fishing and had to clean out the bait cooler before going to bed will know exactly what this smells like. It's that old, on it's way to bad, but not quite there shrimp smell.Fish should love it.

I used a lot of this during the 2020 bass opener. I never even got a strike. Many others around using now attractant were hauling in some good sized ones.

I love this stuff but dose it ever stink be careful not to not to apply in the wind or you'll need to wash your clothes after 🙃
