Best senior racket

When I looked around and saw 50% of my senior men’s group playing with this racket, had to give it a try. Had not bought a new racket in 20 years playing Wilson Pro Staff 97 all those years.Easy to adjust to, light, big sweet spot, easy on you. Been making it for a long time, likely for good reason.

A great beginner / intermediate player tennis racquet.. best value / performance racket I've owned

I've played tennis for fun when I was young and owned tennis racquets from Head, Slazenger (Yes it's an old brand), Wilson and even adidas in all shapes and materials (from wooden rackets to now titanium)... and I have to say that when I decided to play tennis again a decade later, the choice was hard to make to spend too much money on a tennis racquet yet find something that works well for an intermediate player. I tried the cheap options that you find at Target or Walmart but they were underwhelming in terms of what you could do with them. So I decided to buy a better tennis racquet. After trying a Wilson Blade 98 16x19 Countervail and comparing it to this Head Ti S6 tennis racquet, I felt that I was getting much more bang for the buck with the Head Ti S6 with its larger head/frame, so I opted for this tennis racquet. So far so good, I'm not a great tennis player, though I can play decently, and mostly like to play for fun, fitness/keeping myself in shape and this is the perfect tennis racquet for it. It is probably the best tennis racquet I've owned for the money. I would recommend this racket over the ones you buy for less than $40 any day, and over the ones you can get for less than $100-$125... It hits the sweet spot for performance, power, precision, shock absorption, and value/price. Very happy with this one!

Potentially good racquet, but read on...

I'm in my late 40s and haven't played tennis in years. I purchased this racquet based on good reviews, the fact that it seems like a good racquet for a beginner to low intermediate level player, and was reasonably priced. After talking with our club tennis pro I have learned the following:- this racquet is geared towards beginner players and is designed more for women or younger players who need help in generating extra power in their swing. Apparently the extra wide body design lends itself towards additional power.- the strings with which this racquet came equipped are a fairly low quality string and if you plan to play much tennis you should have your racquet restrung with a higher quality string that will reduce vibration and also strain on the elbow and wrist joints.- even beginner players can tell a difference between a high quality and low-quality racquet. I had the opportunity to hit with several higher-end Wilson and Yonex racquets that also had quality strings, and even at my modest level of skill I could tell a significant difference in my ability to hit the ball. All that to say, depending on your profile this racquet could be an acceptable alternative especially if cost is a factor, but I would recommend spending the extra money to have the racquet restrung with higher-quality strings. I also recommend talking to a tennis pro before you buy a racquet, even if you are brand new to the sport. Had I done so I probably would not have bought this racket at all and put the money I spent on this racquet toward a higher quality product. Further, if you plan to compete at any level you will want to have the best equipment you can afford, because let's face it, it's all about getting the dubya (W)...the win!

Another Great Head

It's been a while since I've purchased a new racquet. This one was recommended by the guy who re-strings the Head racquet I have been using for about the last 5 years. I love this new Head. I've been playing since 2011 and most of that time I've played with Head. This racquet is light and it seems pretty accurate. But, of course, it's only as good as the person who is playing with it. Price was really good at $99. I've never paid more than that for a racquet.

Love This Racquet

I've been playing with a TiS6 tennis racquet for over 20 years. It's a great racquet. Each one I've bought has lasted for years. I play 3 days a week, weather permitting. When needed, I'll buy this racquet again.
