It's a good, solid roller that I use for my physical therapy exercises at home. I lay on the roller for strength exercises and it does a great job supporting my body weight. It's very easy to use to roll out tight back and lower hip muscles.

I was eager to try the Yes4All premium soft-density foam roller after reading many positive reviews about its ability to massage sore muscles and improve flexibility. With its generous 3 foot length and molded exterior, it seemed perfect for targeting everything from my back to thighs during at-home sessions. I was hoping it was soft enough to use for the MELT Method. Here's my impressions:Pros:Outer material has just the right amount of tackiness to grip the floor and not slide aroundSoft exterior makes it more comfortable to use on sensitive or tender areasLightweight and easy to move around and storeCons:Too soft for standard foam rolling, but not soft enough for the MELT Method.While I loved the idea of this foam roller and trying something softer, it just wasn't soft enough for me. In the end, I decided to return it and stick to my tried and true standard foam roller and I will be buying the MELT brand soft foam roller soon.

This foam roller is excellent for my back. I also like to stand on it and roll it with my feet to stretch the calf muscles. Give it a try. It's not hard like some I have bought.

I'm new to this so please forgive my ignorance, but if this PE foam is the "soft" version, then boy am I glad I didn't opt for the "super firm" EPP roller ! It feels very firm to ME : I can't sink my thumb into the foam like on the picture even if I push into it with my entire weight. So just a warning that this is no swimming pool noodle ; it's hard enough that I wouldn't let kids hit each other on the head with it.Anyways ! As for its intended use, I can't complain. It does what it's supposed to do. It's very light, comfortable, and it rolls evenly. I was recommended to get one by my physiotherapist for my stiff back and it seems to be helping somewhat. Worth a try.
