Simple, light, strong, waterproof rain cover
Fit as perfect on a rush 5.11 12 either full or emptyWaterproofStretchable outline (around the edge)Very light almost weightless if you are concern in the weight of your bagHaven't fully tested on the field but materials seem strong for the priceIs a rain-cover for a backpack there is really nothing else to it. It won't shoot lasers or talk to you and it won't make your bag for you

Good product at a good price
The material is definitely water proof. I had a use for it the day after it was delivered. It protected my backpack very well in some tough Seattle rains. I use a Samsonite laptop backpack 18" x 12" x 8" and the cover fit snug covering all the zippers.

Works great, but too small!
Worked really well to keep my pack dry during the Amazon rainforest wet season, but is too small! Though advertised for 30-40L packs, this did not completely cover my 32L Kelty Redwing. I would recommend getting a larger size if you plan on filling your pack.

Perfect Fit!
I purchase two of these rain covers - a 35L and a 45L. Both covers fit my bags perfectly, based on the dimensions of my bags vs the product dimensions as advertised. I did not go by the liter capacity, but by the dimensions. Combine perfect fit with a good price and I am a satisfied customer. One note on the fit...one of my bags has shoulder straps that begin on the top of the bag. The cover slips down just a bit under load, as you would expect, and thus just a little water may get to the top of the bag. The other bag has straps that begin just below the top of the bag. This cover cinches down perfectly and stays in place.

Won't stay on
I was looking for a cheapish bag to protect a drawstring pack against the elements - and find this was perhaps a little too large? It won't stay in place while wearing the pack - the drawstrings push off the bag when taut against my shoulders. I will try with my other backpacks to see if it performs better with larger packs, but it is not really working for my intended purpose. You can almost see from the pics how the upper backpack straps might tend to do this while wearing. Sigh.

great cover for a great price!
I bought this cover to help keep my bag dry when hiking during the spring and fall/winter here in Cincinnati as well as in the surrounding areas. Weather around here can be as random as the rain-forest. This comes in a smaller box and is VERY compact. It can easily be stored in a small carry sak on your bag or toss it in a zippered section and it wont be in your way at all. It has a weight of a half filled box of paperclips. I highly recommend this cover as it works as it should, for a more than reasonable price!

Not waterproof
Not waterproof, just water resistant. Tested it before use and was glad I did.

just a little small for a 35L pack ...
The raincover is just a little small for a 35L pack in that it dosen't come all the way over the top or bottom, which also makes it a little prone to coming off if you are bushwacking or in high winds. I had to add a little duct tape and small grommet on mine to keep it clipped to my pack so it would stay on the top. Its very lightweight and packable but just not enough coverage and the top of my pack, and sides got wet in the first rainstorm. This couild be a good cover with just a bit of change to help keep it on the pack, and if it was about 10-15% larger.
